Warhammer Online

Warhammer is dead. That pretty much sums it up. This game has been on life support for a long time. They are doing all they can to keep it alive begging people to come back and play with unlimited free trials and so on. But this game has no chance in surviving. The content just was not there. The pvp was great I had so much fun with it but they needed more. It got way to repetitive. They needed more content different things to do and so on. It really saddens me that this game has died out but it has. So yet again goodbye to another MMO……RIP Warhammer Online. Rating 1/5.

So I gave in and decided I would give this new land of the dead expansion a try. So I opened my account back up jumped back in on my knight of the blazing sun. I go to the land of the dead. I must say the concept of it was pretty cool. Both sides fighting control over the zone so you can hit the pqs and try and get all the nice rewards and such. (Note: This is just like the capital cities though) Its fun but once I get on and going I am over on the server Skull Throne which use to be like the most populated server ever. I am in the land of the dead and notice there is not a whole lot of people.  There should be a lot more of people. So I go looking cant find people doing RvR or anything. The server is like dead. So now as of today they started up free transfers again to try and get the servers populated again by getting rid of a few servers like they did in the past. So what does this mean. Everyone is leaving Warhammer. So even with their Call to Arms campaign and all of that they are still losing a lot of players. So I went ahead and closed my account back today. I am really sad that Warhammer is here where it is at. Looks like it is going to ultimately die. I hope not. But the past shows it is most likely to happen. My rating for the game at its current state 2/5.

I have been playing Warhammer Online since beta. When I started playing this game in beta I loved it I loved how unique the classes war and how the two sides balanced out. Then the game launched and I got so wrapped up in it I had like no life. Warhammer was my life. I was playing 12 hours or more a day. I was so wrapped up in it. I loved the RvR it was great. Scenarios were an awesome concept it broke up the usual MMO grind. It made things new and fun. Then the open RvR was great to. Fighting for battle objectives and keeps and so on. It was great. There were so many different ways to level in this game. It made things feel a lot better then the usual MMO  grind. The end game was very fun to. Once you got to the final tier in the game it felt like the game had just started. Fighting to take the keeps and such and lock down the zones. Then you get to go fight for the fortresses which was fun in its self. Then if you some how take two of them you get to go in and fight for the city and that was awesome. It was also awesome defending your city and keep and so on and trying to push the enemy out of your territory and stand tall. Other cool aspects to the game was public quests for one. I spent a lot of time doing this you got all kinds of rewards and really got you active meeting people. The crafting to the game and such was good as well gave you some extra things to do and you could make some really neat stuff once you got to the higher levels. Mythic also was working really hard and gave us four awesome new classes to. But as of now I don’t have my subscription active because it seems as if Warhammer is going down hill. It is just not to populated anymore. Not enough people to do things. The new land of the dead expansion is cool and all but its not drawing the people back. Mark Jacobs the main guy who had been there for the MMO forever got pushed out by Bioware and quit. Since then the game has just went down hill. I hope the game makes a come back I really enjoyed it but I’m not sure if it will be able to. But you never know. My rating for this game at its current state would be a 3/5.
